Winter Farmers’ Market to Return to FTC
Yes, you can eat locally even in the winter. And it’s not all root vegetables either! There’s cheese, meat, poultry, eggs, organic greens grown hydroponically, teas, sustainably grown seafood, baked goods, goat’s milk soaps and more. The indoor winter farmer’s market that was held at the Fairfield Theater Company last year will return to the same venue this year on Saturday, December 5 from 10-2 and will be open every Saturday until mid April.
So far 15 vendors have signed up to participate in the market and they are working to see if more can be accommodated. You’ll recognize these vendors as participants in the Westport farmers’ market, which ends on November 19.

I am interested in selling gluten-free bakery items at the indoor Fairfield Winter Farmer’s Market. I was there in December when it was outside. Has it reopened inside yet? If so, what are the vendor rates? Is it open this Saturday–inside?
thanks,

Judy,
I’m sure there would be a lot of interest in your products. Lisa Agee from Goatboy Soaps is the Market Master. Please email me at info@fairfieldgreenfoodguide.com and I will put you in contact with her to discuss the details of becoming a vendor. The market reopens on January 16 and is indeed indoors at the FTC. Good luck!
BTW, let us know the name of your company, what products you offer, where you are located, and where my readers can find your products at retail. Thanks!
