Wolffer Estate Winemaker’s Dinner at The Fifth Season

 

Just on the other side of the Long Island Sound, in the scenic and touristy summer hot spot of Port Jefferson, sits a waterfront restaurant called The Fifth Season. We made it a point to dine here when it first opened a few years ago and still remember our fine, farm-to-table meal. During that same trip, we trekked out to the North and South Forks to visit farms and vineyards, and came home smitten with Wolffer Estate and its wines.

On Wednesday, August 17, you can take a short ferry ride across the Long Island Sound to enjoy the fine local food served at The Fifth Season paired with the high-quality wines of Wolffer Estate. The Fifth Season is located just  across the street from where the ferry disembarks so there is no need to bring your car.
