Graze Offers an Organic CSA Delivered to Your Door

Graze is offering a home-delivered, Certified Organic 12-week Summer Harvest CSA from a collective of small Vermont Farmers. They promise no GMOs, no hormones, no antibiotics, and no pesticides. The beauty of the CSA is that it is delivered for free, which allows those who work or otherwise can’t get to the farmers’ markets or a CSA pick up an opportunity to receive organic produce from sustainable farms. Each week you can also order using Graze’s online store to pair this produce with pasture-raised meats, cage-free eggs, and  artisanal Vermont cheeses in order to make terrific summer meals. Please read our feature article about Graze to learn how their online ordering system works.

When you sign up for this 12-week CERTIFIED ORGANIC CSA ($325), you will receive a weekly box brimming with healthy, hand-picked seasonal organic produce. It will be delivered to your door every week for FREE!

2 delivery options: Pick up your share at Wakeman Town Farm* or have it delivered to your home (second option gives you the flexibility of adding a la carte items from Graze to your order). * Graze is donating 10 percent of all Wakeman Town Farm orders to the Farm, so $32.50 from your CSA will be sent to support WTF’s programming and organization. Simply use the farm’s address instead of your home address when choosing this option for your order.

Vermont fresh, organic produce is delivered conveniently to your door or available for pick up at Wakeman Town Farm in Westport.

From June 18 through Sept. 3, you will receive a weekly box containing approx. 8-10 fresh organic vegetables, including awesome salad greens, ripe tomatoes and culinary herbs. As the season progresses, the offerings will ramp up to include peak summer favorites such as sweet corn and juicy melons and berries.

The farmers work very hard to make sure that your basket contains a great variety of staple crops that you can integrate into your everyday meals, without overloading you with odd/unusual/”huh?” items, like three heads of purple kohlrabi or two dozen fiddleheads that might go to waste.

In Late June, Graze will send you links to seasonal recipes for pairing your veggies with Graze’s pasture-raised meats to make the deliciously fresh summer meals a snap. Summer Harvest CSA spaces are limited to 40 on a first-come, first-served basis. Open to all!
