Food Truck Fridays Return at Sugar & Olives

Skinny Pines Pizza returns to Sugar & Olives in Norwalk for a special Food Truck Friday family dinner event this Friday, February 1. Skinny Pines will be setting up their mobile, wood-fired portable pizza oven to cook your dinner to order. Skinny Pines’ handmade pizzas feature local, seasonal ingredients on a thin crust made from freshly milled OO whole wheat flour from Wild Hive Farm in Dutchess County, NY. This specialty flour is finely milled (hence the OO designation), then sifted to remove any large pieces of bran to ensure a superb, evenly textured and delicious crust.

Friday’s Pizza Offerings:

1) The Sugar and Olive: Olive and sundried tomato tapenade with Calabro ricotta,

2) The Margarita: Crushed tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil.

3) The Bianca: Kalamata olives, rosemary, onion, shredded mozzarella and olive oil. Optional: Add Saugutuck Craft Butchery sausage.

4) The JT: Sport Hill Farm winter squash, sage, red onions, Calabro ricotta and shredded mozzarella cheese.
