We’re entering peak tomato season and there’s no better time to start canning tomatoes and otherwise storing these ephemeral fruits for the winter ahead! Learn the basics of canning, freezing, and putting up tomatoes at home from Millstone’s farmer Annie Farrell. Come prepared to chop, cook, can, and taste your way to a well-stocked winter pantry.

Workshops are $30 per person. Email to reserve your spot since space is limited in the Millstone kitchen!

Locally grown tomatoes are delicous, but won't last long. Time to start preserving.

Millstone Farm is a 75-acre working farm in Wilton, CT that is helping to rebuild our food community through small scale agriculture, educational activities, and events. Millstone Farm raise pastured heirloom breed sheep, pigs, and poultry, and grow vegetables for a CSA, local chefs, and family-owned markets.
