Canning Tomatoes Workshop at Millstone Farm

Canning & Preserving Tomatoes

Saturday, September 7

1pm – 3pm

Millstone Farm, Wilton, CT

We’re entering peak tomato season and there’s no better time to start canning tomatoes and otherwise storing these ephemeral fruits for the winter ahead! Learn the basics of canning, freezing, and putting up tomatoes at home from Millstone’s farmer Annie Farrell. Come prepared to chop, cook, can, and taste your way to a well-stocked winter pantry.

Workshops are $30 per person. Email info@millstonefarm.org to reserve your spot since space is limited in the Millstone kitchen! http://www.millstonefarm.org/

Locally grown tomatoes are delicous, but won't last long. Time to start preserving.
