Game Dinner at Bar Sugo

Game Dinner at Bar Sugo

Tuesday, October 22nd

6:30 p.m.

The 2nd annual Game Dinner will be held at Bar Sugo restaurant in Norwalk. Autumn is game season and a special dinner in honor of this wildlife “harvest” is in store for the carnivorous and adventurous.

The menu has yet to be finalized by Chef Pat Pascarella but possibilities could include venison, boar, quail, or pheasant. The dinner will be served family style and includes beer and wine.

Tucked away on along Norwalk’s Wall Street, Bar Sugo is an Italian restaurant where peasant food meets contemporary fare. The place has a rustic feel, but the food is deadly serious. Chef Pascarella, a young chef who honed his “cooking chops” in the kitchens of Mario Batali’s Esca and Scott Conant’s L’Impero (now closed), was also a gourmet pie master at Cortina Pizzeria in Bridgeport and Norwalk.

At Bar Sugo, Pascarella is focused on sourcing local ingredients from Sport Hill Farm in Easton, Millstone Farm in Wilton, Saugatuck Craft Butchery in Westport, and other Connecticut purveyors.

Price for the Game Dinner is $60.00
