Winter Farmers’ Market Returns to the Greenfield Hill Grange

The Winter Farmers’ Market at the Greenfield Hill Grange in Fairfield is back with new vendors and a new market master, Diane Lytwyn of Silver Pond Farm. The market opens for the season this Saturday, November 2, 2013. Hours are 10 am through 2 pm at 1873 Hillside Road.

Vendors include:

Silver Pond Farm – fresh, free range eggs from happy hens. Garlic and organic produce in season.

Beldotti Bros. Bakery – artisan breads, home made cheese, fresh pesto, cakes and baked goods.

Gazy Bros. Farm – all sorts of fresh in season produce: greens, squash, beets, apples, fruit and more!

Olive Oil Co. – gourmet flavored olive oil and various balsamic vinegars – gift packs, too!

Lulu’s Pies – Southern pies including “Chess” pie, chocolate pecan pie, and key lime pie!

Chestnut Hollow Farm – organic fresh lettuce and green.

Karoo Red Tea – flavored fresh bottled teas with the addition of fruit – raspberry, peach and more.

Shearwater Coffee Roasters – Locally roasted, organic, Fair-Trade coffee (read our featured story here)

Happy Hollow Farms – Fairfield grown produce.

Saugatuck Craft Butchery – a whole animal butcher specializing in pastured meats from CT and NY family farms (read our featured story here)
