GEC Hosts Conscious Living Dinner Series with Dr. Johnathan Roberti

The Garden Education Center of Greenwich is hosting a series of Conscious Living Dinners with Dr. Johnathan Roberti aimed at helping guests become informed about eating a plant-based, whole foods diet and leave empowered to make changes in their diets. The series runs on three evenings in September, October, and November.

This three-part interactive dinner conversation will give you the tools to make informed decisions and avoid the pitfalls of the ‘Standard American Diet’ (SAD). Each dinner conversation includes lively demos and conversations that inspire nutritional transformations.Tickets are $50 per person for GEC members and $65 for non-members per evening event or purchase tickets for the series for $125 per person for GEC members and $170 for non-members. Dr. Jonathan Roberti is a celebrated speaker, Hippocrates Health Institute health educator, and “wellicious” guru. After weighting more than 240 pounds and spending more time in other doctor’s offices than his own, Jonathan transformed his entire life and is opening the door for others to do the very same.

September 28 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
This dinner conversation focuses on sourcing and creating simple sustainable meals that incorporate vibrant, whole-food nutrition that appeal to the entire family. Eliminating animal protein, dairy, highly-processed, denatured foods from your daily routine can be a game changer. Learn how to incorporate living foods to help prevent the most common chronic illnesses and to strengthen your immune and digestive system.
Food preparation, demo, and vegan dinner feast will be included.

October 26 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Learn why living foods such as microgreens, sprouts, fermented foods, germinated nuts, seeds and beans are the cornerstone for transitioning to a healthier lifestyle. Learn the science behind highly alkalizing green juices, blue-green algae, and wheatgrass to heal most chronic digestive diseases. Incorporate micronutrients and phytochemicals unique to sea vegetables, kelp, wild weeds, and edible flowers into your daily food consumption.
Food preparation, demo, and vegan dinner feast will be included.

November 16 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Gain the skills to plan, prepare, & consume nutrient-dense foods that focus on ‘counting ingredients’ versus calories. Incorporate foods that naturally boost energy and vitality – from nutrients not stimulants, additives, or denatured food-like products. Navigate the 150,000+ items in a typical supermarket by avoiding common pitfalls with food labels, hidden ingredients, neurotoxins, and additives in order to make conscious informed food choices that are beyond organic.
