On Sunday, November 29th, from 4-7pm, you can share in a favorite Farm tradition at The Hickories in Ridgefield of leading their expectant momma sheep out from their autumn pastures, and into their warm and cozy winter barn!
Attendees will gather with the farmers along Lounsbury Road, light the sheep’s way with lanterns and listen to the holiday bells ring as the flock come home to their mangers.
Then, stay and shop a wide selection of farm-inspired gifts and gift baskets, farmstead marinara, salsas, preserves, and other farm treats, while kids and adults alike enjoy a wooly craft with yarn from their sheep.
Items are limited so be sure to come early and stock up on a bounty of local flavors and warm woolens.
This is a FREE event, but please reserve your spots online at www.thehickories.org.
The Farm Store at The Hickories remains open for winter hours Friday-Sunday from 11am-5pm for your holiday shopping convenience! In addition to an assortment of hand-crafted, “ready to buy” items, custom farm-to-table gift baskets can be ordered in advance and make great gifts for anyone on your list.
