Restaurants, specialty markets, winemakers, craft brewers, and others will fill the courtyard of the Delamar Southport/Artisan to serve their signature cuisine and curated cocktails and beverages to foodies and fun-loving folk in the area. There will be music, games, and roving entertainment.
Participating Restaurants and Retailers: Artisan, Aspetuck Brew Lab, B. Good, Brick + Wood, The Cakebox, The Chelsea, Donut Crazy, Fairfield Cheese Company, Fairfield Craft Ales, Flipside Burger Bar, Freshii Fairfield, Geronimo Tequila Bar & Grill, Joe’s American Bar & Grill, The Little Goose, The Little Pub, Mecha Noodle Bar, Nom-eez, Old Post Tavern, Quattro Pazzi, Riverside Baking Company, Shearwater Coffee Roasters, Taberna Tapas, Taco Loco, Toto, and Whelk/Ka-Wa Ni
Fairfield Cheese Company told me they’re participating when I stopped in for some Ranch Gordo beans and a gift for a friend. I was delighted to find a new product just perfect for my foodie friend: syrup made from organic apple juice. I was even happier about my purchase after learning the backstory. The farm successfully transitioned from being a grower of commodity apples to being a producer of premium, value added foods, which ensured the future success and viability of the farm. I’ll support a business like that every time.
