By Analiese Paik

Winter farmers markets are growing in popularity as consumers embrace local-in-season eating more than ever. The opening of the year-round Farmer Market Co-Op in Ridgefield marks a high point in local food availability at retail. Please support the farmers and entrepreneurs who work so hard to provide us with the best food in ways that are convenient for us. Happy shopping!

Please note that the following outdoor spring/summer markets run through November or December: Bethel, Darien, New Canaan, and Greenwich.  Please consult our 2016 farmers market guide for locations and dates.

Please find a complete guide to all the winter markets in Fairfield County below (New Canaan TBA). Market Masters, please contact marketing@fairfieldgreenfoodguide.com if you are running a winter market that we haven’t listed.
